Our story
Our journey began with a simple observation: existing monitoring tools were falling short. They allowed for configuring dashboards and triggers, but the real work – finding and fixing outages – still relied heavily on manual intervention. We realized that monitoring software could achieve so much more if it were equipped with the knowledge engineers naturally have. Through years of working with engineers, we observed a common pattern in their troubleshooting processes. They systematically check a set of hypotheses about potential root causes confirming or rejecting them step by step. While each application has its unique issues, the ability to check for common pitfalls in seconds can save a lot of time. Coroot was founded in 2022 with the mission to improve your team’s reliability engineering skills with a tool that acts as your personal assistant, capable of not only identifying the root cause of an outage but also suggesting a list of possible fixes.
